Simple Green, Meg's APC+, or other

What product would you use to get these wheels clean before polishing and sealing, Simple Green, Meg's APC+, or a specific wheel cleaner?

Looks like it might require something pretty stout. Eagle One All Wheel and Tire would be a good place to start. It's got some good punch but is quite safe when used per the directions. If that doesn't work, you may have to look toward something like an acid.
 
I have cleaned nastier wheels than that (BMW wheels) with P21S. Spray P21S on the face of the wheel, and inside the barrel of the wheel, let it soak for 15-20 minutes, then use an assortment of rags, sponges, and brushes to clean them.

Will these wheel cleaners work better then an APC? I have some Simple Green concentrate and will be ordering some Meg's APC+ before long. I'll get one of these wheel cleaners if I have too.
 
def save yourself alot of hassle and use megs hot rims that you can pick up pretty cheap at wally world or a similar product
 
Meg's Hot Rims in the pink bottle will knock that out pretty quick. Easy to find OTC as well.



SimpleGreen will go pretty far with it though. Just keep in mind that you're working with a painted/clearcoated wheel surface and don't let anything sit too long.
 
I believe I saw some Hot Rims at Big Lots.



Should I try Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner or Hot Rims Multi Piece Wheel Wash?

i wish it was available in gallons LOL. it's a shame they don't have a professonal line of this that is dilutable... :think2
 
I like Simple Green product. I have had great results with their new Precision Equipment Simple Green. Seems to be the best value to me.
