Silver recomendations?

For a well maintained "Radiant Silver" 2004 Nissan Titan....

I'm thinking KAIO followed by UPP. Mainly because I already have both products. But... I've heard good things about EX-P, and I'm open to whatever will get the job done best.

I would like to bring out the "flecks" in the paint (while getting good depth and shine).

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Go with it. You won't be diappointed. Put at least three coats of UPP on it.Trust me the flecks will "pop".Personally I like Vanilla Moose between the AIO and UPP but if you don't have the moose then go with what you have. The Vanilla Moose adds wetness to the paint. You won't get much depth with just the AIO and UPP but you will get the bling! If you want depth then top UPP with a carnuba.

The AIO/UPP is what I used on my daughters 2002 Taurus. Seemed to look good.

The pictures aren't very good, but it's all I had.
FWIW, I have yet to find a color that the AIO/UPP combination doesn't look good on.

AIO and just about anything will be nice on silver. UPP and EX-P are my favorite sealants for silver.

Thanks everyone for the quick replies!

GSRstilez: This afternoon I took a look at the Zaino web site, and read a couple threads on it here. If I go Zaino, I'm thinking that I want to make the investment like you did and use the entire system. I'll probably hold off for now. GREAT looking Caddy!

Seems like from the other posts that I can't go wrong with the AIO & UPP combo. I wish that I could layer without the 24 hour wait, but I can spread that over a few weekends.

While layering or more correctly, multiple applications are OK, IMO, they aren't absolutely necessary other than to ensure complete coverage.
If you can't tie the vehicle up for 24 hours, just wait until the next time you wash it and apply more UPP. I have often had to do that, plus I then apply more about every 4 to 6 weeks after a wash job. Keeps the vehicle looking like it was just waxed.

On my magnesium metallic I frequently use UPP (3x+), but have found that I like 4* UPC more than KAIO under the UPP. IMO, UPC seems to give the UPP a little more depth and the flake-popping seems to be about the same.

I have WG on it right now, but will probably be redoing the car in UPC & UPP in the coming weeks, weather dependent.

I love Werkstatt on silver. Prime/AJ ( mulitiple coats, no wait time). If I want a slightly darker look..wait a couple of hours and add CJ.
