Silver BMW

This is a 5 month old daily driver, garaged at night, outside during work. Has about 4,300 miles on it. I decided it was time for it to meet the PC. I've been practicing on my wife's car for the past few months as well as reading the tons of info on this site. I think it turned out pretty good for silver, Titanium Silver is the official color.

I used Meguiars #9 swirl remover (since the paint is almost new) with a Meguiars polishing pad at speed of 5. Then I followed with Mothers Reflections by hand. The tires are dressed with Michelin tire dressing.

The enigine was just wiped down with a wet MF towel. Theblack plastic in the engine bay was treated with Meguiars plastic and vinyl protector about two months ago. The interior was dressed with it also. The wood was just wiped with a clean, dry MF.

Great car u got there! I have an E90 325i with sport package also in Titanium Silver. Mothers Reflections looks great on it i think i'll try it out too. :xyxthumbs

It's awsome that you are able to keep your engine bay looking so good as it is a daily driver.

Ya know I have used the Mothers Reflection once on my flake red Expedition, and was pretty impressed with its ease of use and overall appearance. Dont be afraid to add an additional layer. The smell is awesome also!

Silver is a difficult color to get a lot out of, so dont expect a whole lot. Just get it swirl free, clean, and then seal. Maintain with a nice QD and you'll be a happy camper.

Beautiful car. I almost got a 330, but changed my mind and I now have a 550. My previous car was an 03 Jet Black M3, and trying to keep it to Autopian standards was killing me! I love silver.
