side view mirror scratches and windshield swirls

I need to figure out how to get the scratches out of my side view mirror. I am thinking about trying some ssr boys but im not sure if that will scratch it even more. Also should i go with some ssr2.5 on my windshield to get rid of the swirls?

The PBs web site indicates SSRs are glass safe. I have not tried it personally but plan to when ever it stops raining next year!

Be cafeful with any type abrasive cleaners on your outside rear view mirrors because some mirors are coated and will scratch easily. Test lightly on a small area first.:xyxthumbs

You might want to try PlastX - not all side mirrors are glass. Found that out the hard way with IG and #0000 steel wool.
