That's correct for the M105/1Z pic, they're to the right of the sun's reflection in the M105/M205 (hard to explain...it's like I can see how/where you wiped).

IMO the camera is catching stuff that you're missing with your naked eye, just as I can usually only see such stuff with the SunGun (I can *sometimes* see it in sunlight, but only when the angle/etc. is *just* right).

IPA wipes will take care of the M205 ones (assuming they're just oils) but the M105 ones need polished out. The latter are why I often end up doing an intemediate step between M105/cutting and M205/finishing. Sometimes that intermediate step is kida aggressive too...like M205/orange, but usually something like M205/*Griot's* orange is sufficient.

Would be interesting to see M205 on a orange pad via KBM/PC on that softer paint.

I was thinking something along the same lines, only I was thinking about M205 on the *Griot's* orange pad, or maybe that new tangerine pad (which sounds similar).

I hadn't used the Griot's pads for ages, but KMBing with them an M205 via Flex has been working well for me.

So the M205 holos are probably from the oils not coming completely clean? That's good to know. I don't think I did more than one, maybe two, IPA wipes for each area. And I kinda wanted to do a spot of just 105 to see if I could get it "nearly LSP ready" like a lot of guys here claim. To be honest, it doesn't look half bad on its own. Of course it should be further refined, but on any car besides a black Honda I could see where it might leave a near LSP-ready finish. Thanks to everyone for the comments and for taking the time to even bother with my lazy-day Sunday project.

Yeah, unless they're left over from the M105. Sometimes the usual progression (M105/cutting to M205/finishing) is too big a jump.

Awesome, I think only 1 in 100 people ever watched that show or have any clue who my avatar is. I wish they would bring it back. It may be a little controversial but it's one of the few shows with honest, I-may-have-just-peed-myself, laughs! :woot2:

Best news I've heard today! Thanks Setec.
