Should I switch to zaino?

My suggestion: ignore what everyone else has said about appearance and try Z first-hand. I've used Zaino on a black car and managed to get it deep and dark, rich, warm, and glowing. IMO, it's possible with all the 'general consensus' floating in the forums, that we get this, "I hate it! My hood just turned plastic!" impression of Z even before using it.

My 2 cents... :)

I have/do use it on black and get deep and dark, rich, warm, and glowing too..

Just my $0.02...

As stated by others, try topping your SG with some carnuba. I was not happy with SG alone on my green car. It looked as though it was missing something. Once I topped with the blitz the car looked incredible. On my blue car however, SG looked fantastic on it's own.

As for zaino and swirls. From all that I have read and heard about z5, it will not hide any major swirls (as stated in this thread as well). If you are planning on using z on your gf's ride, get the swirls out first. Z will actually magnify swirls more than SG due to it's higher optical properties. Zaino claims to be (I beilieve I read this on their site) 99% optically clear. I doubt SG comes close to that as I've noticed it darken my finish a little.

well i think I'll comment on this cause i've used Klasse for a summer and i've used Zaino for a summer and i have an electron blue civic coupe. I'm switching back to klasse this summer simply because its so much easier than zaino. just use whater you want for the swirls, AIO, then SG. no need to worry about rewashing the car or bonding etc. I think this summer i'll go the AIO/SG/S100 route and see how it looks.

I would still try zaino so you can see first hand whether or not you like the look and the application process if you've got the time and resources but if you're buying it expecting a night and day difference in the paint, i dont think zaino will do that.
