Should I coat my cell phone?

I finally upgrade my prehistoric Samsung Galaxy S (1) with a new LG cell phone. Should I apply a surface coating? Has anyone applied a coating to your cell phone? Would you recommend it?

Voids warranty
How will it void the warranty ? I use wax and sealants on my screen helps keep it slick and some what clean... I need a new smartphone LOL but just can't bring my self to buy a new one with the prices they are... But if I do get one it'll be the droid turbo... Love my original razr maxx... Battery life is amazing ..

Ya I was in your same boat. I didn't want to cough up +$500 for a smart phone and I didn't want to go on contract either to pay off a device that 99% of the features I never use. But I found out I could buy a new prepaid phone at walmart for $119 and connect it to my current Tmobile plan (which I wanted to keep for $60/month unlimited everything). So $119 later and I have a new LG Optimum L90 which is an amazing upgrade from a first gen Samsung Galaxy. No added debt, no contract, no headache.

This is how I know we aren't normal. I clean and protect my phone with detailing supplies too. I say do it!

Last I checked the LG optimum was $100 from T-Mobile retail price. I'm like you, don't want the added payment for a phone. I ended up getting the ZTE ZMax from T-Mobile. Only $250 retail price

There are a few different versions of the Optimum. I got the L90 which was $119 at Walmart. I almost got the ZTE ZMAX which was on sale (and still is right now) for $179.99 or the Alcatel One Touch for $149.99. But I don't need a big phone.

Awww $180 would of been awesome. I got it for $250 the week it came out. Still a steal at that price. Not complaining.

Loving seeing these phones coming out trying to compete with the big names at drastically lower prices. I have a galaxy note 2 and I'd choose my zmax over it any day

I have a glass shield on my note 3 and glad I did. Had a bad fall 2 months ago and scratch the face piece so bad. But with the glass shield all I had to do was removed it and replace with a new one.
