Short review of Opti-Seal...

Got in in the mail from Obcessive Detail yesterday....So pumped. Car was dirty, so I QEW'd a couple of panels, one being the rear quarter, the other the front.

Rear got Opti-Seal over a 3 week old coat of DG 105. Went on SO easy, and I was so amazed at how little product is needed. Very nice.

Front got a quick coat of Poli-Seal and then Opti over it. Same notes. Smooth going on, little product used.

Results? Well, at first, the surface was not slick on either panel. I was not thrilled. So, I let it sit for about 2 hours and then revisited. Wow...much improved. The front quarter was done about 30 minutes after the rear, so slickness was still lacking.

Flash forward to this morning....both panels exhibit a glossy, deep, wet, slick finish. Actually, both panels look VERY similar. So, I think tomorrow's detail will be a quick coat of Poli and then on to the Opti.

Nice product, great ease of use, and great look!

Anxious to do the whole car tomorrow!

When you guys say a few hours, is it okay if you drive the car? I live in an apartement and will be detailing at a friends house and waiting might be inconvenient, and overnight is a definite no no,

Yep..Justin is great.

Opti-Seal is amazing after a few hours. Definitely "cures." Nice product. I am interested to see it in the sun, which I will do shortly! :)

Opti-seal has been on my car for about 7-8 week now and still looks wet and still has some slickness on it! Wonderful product.

All righty then - I'm doing my boss's SUV tomorrow - topping Poliseal with Opti, I'll wait a couple of hours before taking it back.

Just went out to the lot here at work...both panels have equal slickness. Both look very wet. It's a great look on my medium grey car. Even if I got 8 weeks, I would be happy.

Tomorrow is definitely OPS and Opti...:)
