First off, detailing is not my full time job. I do 1-2 cars per week, full corrections, and usually have 20-25 hours in detailing by week's end. All I deal with is corrections, so once a car is done, it is up to the owners to care for them and maintain/preserve the appearance of the vehicle that they have invested a lot of money in. I will never see it again, except maybe a couple years later. In the past, I have always educated my customers on proper car care. The "DOs", the "DO NOTs"...but sometimes customers forget, I don't have enough time to talk with them, etc.
Every detail I perform, I will give the customer a sheet breaking down what my process was, the products used, and the time spent on each area of the car. I like to be completely transparent in everything I do and have no secrets. In addition to this, I want to provide some short but sweet literature for them to take with them. Something they can save, reference, something tangible they can keep in their garage or glove box, etc. I could take the time to type something up, but I'm sure someone else has done this far better than I possibly could. Could anyone post up or direct me to a link that I could use to print off for them? 1 page preferably, 2 pages max. Thanks in advance!
