Short and sweet literature on maintenance washing for customers?

First off, detailing is not my full time job. I do 1-2 cars per week, full corrections, and usually have 20-25 hours in detailing by week's end. All I deal with is corrections, so once a car is done, it is up to the owners to care for them and maintain/preserve the appearance of the vehicle that they have invested a lot of money in. I will never see it again, except maybe a couple years later. In the past, I have always educated my customers on proper car care. The "DOs", the "DO NOTs"...but sometimes customers forget, I don't have enough time to talk with them, etc.

Every detail I perform, I will give the customer a sheet breaking down what my process was, the products used, and the time spent on each area of the car. I like to be completely transparent in everything I do and have no secrets. In addition to this, I want to provide some short but sweet literature for them to take with them. Something they can save, reference, something tangible they can keep in their garage or glove box, etc. I could take the time to type something up, but I'm sure someone else has done this far better than I possibly could. Could anyone post up or direct me to a link that I could use to print off for them? 1 page preferably, 2 pages max. Thanks in advance!

There was the article on the 2 bucket method and stuff simular here, if you do a search. But, I'm wondering why you don't want to do maintenance -wash/wax after the detail? It has benefits, one, it's easy, it's money, it keeps you in touch with the customer and in turn - they keep you in their minds and refer friends to you so it's free advertising. I have a simple wash-wax this Saturday on a new GMC 2500 4 door diesel truck. It's suppose to warm up from 25 to a lovely 41 degrees. I'm 54 and hate cold weather, so doing a 2-2.5 hour job on a day like that is all I care for. BTW- customer has referred tons of others to me and I maintain 3 other vehicles for him. Just something to mull over.

Thanks guys, very helpful. I don't mess with maintenance bc I have a full-time job working 45-50 hrs already, and quite honestly it's not worth my time to stop what im doing and mess with a wash/wax. Not at the moment, anyways!
