Pretty much, yeah... the only problem it has is that it can bog down a bit if you put a lot of pressure behind it (which you shouldn't be doing anyway) and the electric motor sounds "gritty" while running. I've got one that I keep as a backup and use with my Dynabrade DA adapter.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I probably won't be pushing too hard on it because I not only don't want to burn the paint--I don't want to remove more paint than is necessary.



Do you know if this one from HF needs any adapters and what size pads it fits?

You can use any standard rotary hook and loop backing plate or pad you want with that machine...

They are usually accompanied by a class with a charge of at least $150, but usually more depending on the name behind the class.
