I guess that is due to all the shark attacks on the NC coast since it is in the news.

They do Shark Week every year, I believe, maybe more than once a year.

Yeah, I watched several of the documentaries last night and a couple of the Jaws the other day.

I've always made it a point to watch shark week every year. I feel like it's starting to get a little more dramatic than necessary. Every show seems to end with there being a 40' shark somewhere that no one has ever seen.

For a lot of people, shark week also means summer is almost over.

I used to but seems like a lot repeats and they have made it like local news trying to scare you and every think over exaggerated. tons of over acting every scene is now live and death. Waiting for them to get William Shatner "O-h M-Y GOD spalk Th-aT SHARK IS HU-GE! caN you Be-Lieve IT!

the show is getting old and they are trying too hard at this point. its far from what it used to be.

I love Shark Week. Watch it every year. This year they over sold the commercials and it too much selling and too little shark. The shear volume and length of the commercial to content has made it unwatchable for me.
