I was looking at the autopia store and wanted to finally buy a PC, and was going to get a complete kit with pads. Whats the difference between Sonus SFX and DAS pads if any? Which would you prefer?
For me, I have both the SFX and DAS pads from Autopia.
I like the SFX ones for aggressive work on other peoples cars and the DAS ones for my own car, mainly light polishing and glazes.
The DAS ones are larger and softer, and dont seem to have quite as much bite when you compare them to the like SFX pad. I sue these on my own car and in better shape paints.
The SFX ones are smaller, more firm and dense foam, polishes stay wet for longer and help me to achieve paint correction quicker on badly treated customers cars for paint that needs more work.
Comparing pads of each type the equilient SFX pad seesm more aggressive than the DAS ones.
