If you're using a PC, there's very little chance that you can go through the clearcoat.
You'd have to be leaning on the thing on 6 with the most aggressive combo you have and even then...MAYBE.
Meg's #9, I think, has fillers in it which would explain why the swirls are all gone, which is a good thing. However, after you wash the car or take a heavy rain the fillers will come out of the swirls and they will be visible again. If it doesn't bother you then hey, go for it.
Many poeple here like fillers as a quick fix to get their car looking good the easy way.
and if i'm wrong about the fillers being in #9 someone let me know, I read that somewhere on these boards a long time ago.
