SFX-1 and SFX-2 Agressiveness Questions

Just how aggressive are these two products?

I don't see too much mentioned about them.

If used with a PC and a compound pad for SFX-1 and a polish pad for SFX-2, what comparable products are out there?

Can you compare their agressiveness with another product say in the Meguiar's line? I know that may be difficult, but it helps me frame it in my mind so I know what surface condition to use them on. I hope the machine and pad combo I mentioned above helps.

The SFX-1 looks fairly agressive, like a strong DACP?

I have a Sonus coupon to use up and would like to determine which I should buy.

Thanks for any help you can provide :xyxthumbs

Is that chart correct for SFX-1? Apparently SFX-1 can remove 1200 grit sanding marks where as Megs state that #84 is needed for that. I guess I'll find out in a few days when my SFX stuff arrives from ACC.

I, personally, don't agree with that chart. There are a few polishes on there that are in the wrong place. It does kind of give you a *general* idea but it's certainly not something to use for a rock solid comparison.

Spilchy,

SFX-1 is agressive. If you have used 3M Fine Cut compound, it is on par with the cut of this product. It does require a good amount of heat to break down and polish out properly. For this reason, it works best with the SFX-1 4" Spot Pad, which, due to its size, gets a lot of work done and helps keep repairs isollated.

SFX-2 is far less agressive. It is on par with 3M Finesse-It II. It will remove light swirls and restore gloss on a finish with light oxidation. It will not remove heavy swirls or scratches unless used with a rotary at 800-1000 RPM.
