Hey guys, just wondering if anyone had a template or tips on making invoices or receipts of service. Plus, could anyone verse me on sales taxing, I know is a expansive subject but just some bullets to get the ball rolling on if i need to add it and how I go about applying it to my income statement.

First things first, do you have a business tax ID number?

No not yet, I'm in Indiana right now, moving back to Texas soon, which is where ill be incorporating. Apparently Indiana doesn't have a service tax, so I think I'm ok up here. Can I claim my materials once I get back to Texas and file for a LLC, or do you need to be registered prior to buying startup equipment?
