Seat Covers

Clean Dean

Keep it clean !!!
I recently purchased a 2000 Chevy Blazer with a cloth interior. I don't like cloth because of its tendency to hold odors. I was looking into placing a good cover on the seats and was looking for some help (please). I found this seat cover from Performance Parts Online and its called Wet Okole Seat Cover. Its made of neoprene and looks pretty decent. Any recomendations would be appreciated !

If you're at all interested in converting to leather, Katzkin has gotten good reviews on i-club (the WRX is only available with cloth from the mfr., and a few guys have converted over to a Katzkin leather interior with good results).

Had Okole's on my old truck. Expensive yes, but oh so worth it. I would love to be able to afford them for the Subie. In the future, I will get them for all my cloth cars to come. If you don't mind spending the dough they will save your seats. They are also totally waterproof, don't get hot even sitting in direct sun and very easy to clean. The fit and finish is first rate. Just my $.02.

you can go t kmart. In there auto section(at least mine) they have slip on leather covers. I dont know how well they work.:xyx but there aemi cheap:xyxthumbs

Well,

that's a thing I would like to change on my car to? but there are side-airbags in the front seats , and the manual clearly states that seat-covers are FORBIDDEN!

<strong class='bbc'>I believe they have cutouts on the side for side airbags... [/b]</blockquote>I'm positive the Katzkins accommodate side-airbags (a number of '02 WRX owners on i-club have switched, and we have the bomb-in-the-seat to deal with); not sure about Wet Okole . . .

even with the cut-outs for the side-airbags , they stay forbidden:

I've checked with the dealer : in case of an accident they can take their hands off warranty.

I'll have to live with it...:(

Still , thanks TortoiseAWD for the reply

If the side airbag thing isn't a problem, check out the Wet Okoles'. They are really great. Make sure you get some of their UV protectant and shampoo if you buy. I bought mine direct from WO, couldn't really find them discounted enough to bother.
