I'am new to this board so sorry for a (searchable) post. But after searching for sealants I'am more confused? My current supplies and process are (and I do have a PC).

Menzerna IP then FP

Sonus paintwork cleanser

Klasse AIO

P21

I like the result's but want more deep shine! and better protection ? So witch one would you use on a 96 rio red cobra, and 2002 black exploder.

NXT, 4* UPP, Klasse SG, EX-P

I was going to order Klasse then did a search and learned about these! Also what's the best hand applied scratch remover? Thanks for the advise.

c9obr6a,

Welcome to Autopia, :wavey

You can go right to the Klasse twins from Menzerna FP, no need for anything in between.

I personally use Klasse AIO X2, SG X as many coats as you want, then Souveran

There really is no best hand applied scratch "remover" . Generally only micromarring and light scratches can truly be removed by hand with expereinence and lots of time and movement. Often products that claim this really only mask what they cannot improve with fillers :down

Since you have a PC, try using your Menzerna. There's several other quailty lines of polishes as well and I'd encourage you to get a little of each, experiment, then see which work best for you ( like several tools in a tool box)

Good luck

I would try an extra coat of P21S. AIO + P21Sx2 works very well for me.

If you want something deeper then I would suggest a pure polish like Megs hand polish followed by the P21S x2.

another suggestion:

Menzerna IP then FP

Clearkote VM

Poorboy's EX w/carnauba x2

Natty's Wax x2

as long as you wash your cars without introducing any marring, you can just add another layer of Natty's every few weeks.

another option is search the 'Click & Brag' section for GSRstilez posts on his red Integra. he tried different products for different results.

I would go for EX-P or EX, or maybe SG if you like the klasse stuff. Speaking from experience (i live about 5 hours north of you cobra) you are going to need something thatll last for a long time with our winters (like our nice snowstorm yesterday and today BTW :) ). A lot of people really like multiple layers of SG, so that might do the trick. I really like EX-P, so thats my choice, but for the winter i wouldnt put on a straight carnuba on top of it, it would be gone in about a week. Something like Meguiars #16 lasts awhile (ive gotten about 2 months in winter weather out of it thus far), but a straight carnuba in winter in Michigan is just kind of pointless. In summer, its an awesome combo, but in winter it is gone so fast, that IMO its just not worth the work

Also, ScratchX is a decent scratch remover by hand, but since youve got a PC, i would just use the Menzerna. That said, and if you really want to do it by hand, it depends how bad they are ofcourse, and also you have to concentrate in a small (like 6x6 inch) area and apply it probably 3 times before you see results (this is on black though, which shows any and everything). So you might want to give that a shot. Can be found at any walmart or auto parts store for about 7 bucks.

Thank you for all your input, this sight and members are great!! I'am going to order SG and EX-P and see how they work out. But I think this is my current crack habbit and will order other combo's soon! This michigan snow can go any time atleast 4 hours north you see trees, I get to see idoit's in the ditch with there suv LOL

None of your choices will give you a deeper shine than your p21s. Water based sealants just don't give the nuba look. If you want to shell out the dough you can try souvern, but it's marginally different than p21s. Some come very close, but nuba's will give you the deepest look. As for protection, I think your SG would be the best choice from your list, also Zaino is a little easier to use and is well known for it's durabilty. Then put your p21s as topper if you need the deepest look. You will have to re-apply that p21s every month, but only have to strip it all off with AIO and start over about every 4 or 5 months. I haven't tried the new Zaino but it's supposed to be upgraged to have a deeper look. So SG or Zaino are well known for giving 6 months of durabilty. If you do a search you will find more people than not getting poor durabilty from NXT and UPP. As for Poorboy's, if you don't mind waxing your car once a month, Natty's will actually be a good choice to go right on op of your AIO, very deep look. You can of course top Z or SG with Natty's being your topper in case you miss a month. I think Natty's is a little deeper than p21s, but p21s is a little clearer (shinier).
