I read somewhere that the soap may cause the stripping of sealant. (or am I wrong?)
How can I tell if the soap is too strong and that it would strip away the sealant, in my case Klasse? When I layer sealant by PC in a different day, I always wash the car first to get rid of any dirt that might have accumulated. I am always paranoid that some dirt will cause more swirl marks.
I'd hate to think that all this time I've been wasting a lot of efforts by using an abrasive soap.
What do you guys do? Do you wash the car first before reapplying the sealant? Any advice will be awesome.
Have a good one! Thanks.
(I've been using Optimum soap by the way.)
