Sealant Fever

Zaino Z2 pro and Zaino Z5pro...I believe forever:D ... on the bimmer and EINSZETT-Glanz on the workinghorses.

Glanz gives a very nice shine and outstanding durability(european formula):D

Klasse, AJT, Fireglaze, Glare, Permagard, Wolfgang

All depends on what colour and if solid or flaked paint

Didn't think I would see any Glare. I liked it quite a bit. Great look and what a shine!! What bothered me was the white crap that it leaves behind in the cracks and on trim.

FYI Glare Spider and Knock-Out Compound work great to clear up fogged out head lights.

Ultima PGP is better all the way around. Much more depth same shine, plus you don't have to remove it, just wipe on and you are done. I am glad I made the switch. Check it out when you run low on Glare.

1. Zaino ZCS, Z5pro Z2pro Z8 For me undisputed king of looks & durability

2. Os

3.Jet seal

4. JW AJ

5.BF

6. Final touch ( mirror images)

That's what I call a true sealant fan!

Out of all of those, which is your favorite?

I dont know that I have a favorite, it all depends on the color and the situation.

4* UPP is awesome but lacks durability.

CS/OS are really easy to use, but I find they need to be reapplied monthly/bi-monthly to keep the shine.

DeepSwax is an great looking sealant, similar I think to Wolfgang, the durability is decent.

Z2/Z5 go without saying, and sprucing them with Z8 is as easy as it gets.

The best beading hands down is Z2/Z5.

Thanks for the reply, and I agree with you about taking color into account.

Are you going to give any of the Jeff Werkstatt stuff a try?

Doesn't powder for me.

It's the best polish and sealant for unpainted exterior window trims and on glass it is outstanding

I make sure I put on three good coats because I don't believe that it lasts as long as they say.

Not the be all and end all but definately has some advantages

I tape up every crack and gap with each detail anyway, tape's cheap over here

I'm getting gallons in a few weeks and going to give ZERO a try as well

Let see....

and few I have given or thrown away....

But in my eyes two coats of PS or VW looks better than any of the above sealants or spay waxes.

What is your review on Glare and Ultima PGP?

Slipped my mind, I would definitely add Prime Strong and AJT. Outstanding on silver and white, not much of a fan of it on darker colors. Great durability, good cleaning (prime), and easy application as long as you dont let the AJT set up.
