Depends, some scratches need more attention than others. Picture would help a lot.
For off the shelf products I would recommend using scratch doctor or scratchX and clean terry towel. Try to rub it off a little at a time; don't try to remove it all at once. After that I would use Meguiars #9 usually can be bought at PEP BOYS in 16 oz bottle. Use Microfiber towel with #9 and use the same motion in the same direction as you used scratch remover.
Top it with good wax and you should be good to go.
Again, this is and basic procedure of removing fine scratches with out really seeing the damage.
Anything beyond that I would recommend to hire a professional detailer, with knowledge on wet sanding and use of rotary buffer.
