Scratches in my rims

I wouldn't expect it to be a very cheap fix so if you're the one that caused the rash then you may want to consider leaving them alone. Or get some curb scrapers so you stop hitting the curb :)

We did not do the damage. The previous owner did.

wheels repair

Google wheels repair in your area. Someone is doing it I bet. I had my Mercedes done and I truly couldn't tell where they were refinished when i got them back. I think cost was only $70.00 a wheel?

The bad thing is that all four rims have this.

So the next question is, how do you find someone locally that can help with these?

You don't list your geographic location, so it is impossible for any of the members to direct you. I would google "wheel repair" or "rim repair" in tyour local area. You could always all the local BMW dealer and ask who they use for the used cars to fix the rims. This was you get a reccommendation. If they are straight up, no reason they should not tell you.

If you are on LI, in NY PM me and I can give you a good company.

Now, my intention is not to be a jerk but it might come off that way so I'll ask a few questions....

  • Is this your car?
  • Did you buy the car with the wheels in this condition?
  • If yes to the above then why waste good money fixing them if it'll happen again?

No, not a jerk, but someone who had not read the thread. He already stated he bought the vehicle in that condition.

was the wheels already like that before you bought the car.......my gf has the same thing, i refuse to fix them, learn how to park then we'll talk about fixing them

I think some people missed this part!!!

I have a couple the same way on my daughters ex Saab that have to be done also when I'm ready to work on it. Seems we have a company about 1/1.5 hour drive away that does them. I found them with Google.

PAC's website has this wheel repair kit and I will be getting it with my next order! It is especially for the German silver wheel color and your BMW is that standard color (if they are the stock wheels).

I have a set of BBS CH's on my 335 and I managed to absentmindely curb the passenger front. I've heard very good things about this Wurth product for exactly this problem and it's only like $55 vs maybe $125 for a wheel repair place to do it. I figure it's worth a try as a DIY attempt.
