Scratches aren't deep but won't come out...

Lore- You're bumping up against the limits of the PC. The only products more aggressive for work by PC are 1Z Ultra and Hi-Temp Medium Cut (I haven't tried this but take Anthony O.'s word for it). Both will require a follow up with a milder product.

Try using 4" pads to keep the PC from bogging.

Hey Accumulator,

Thanks again for your comments. That's what I thought - but I also think I used the wrong pad with the wrong compound. I probably should have used the yellow pad with the 3M PI-II RC instead of the other way around (orange with the 3M product and yellow with the Menzerna IP).

Once I get some, I'll try some Medium Cut with the yellow pad and see where it takes me. However, being as it was my first experience with the PC, I am very very happy I bought it. This will save me hours of work in the future and with the right pads/chemicals I think I run a very small risk of introducing new swirls.

I'll have to try it with my 2004 Anthracite Acura TL. That'll be the ultimate test!

I think its much better, the combo of RC then MG really made them disappear, they are still there, but ever so faint compared to what they were and I am a lot happier! Thanks :)
