i have some scratches on my door that i dont think i could get out (some ppl here probably could, but i'm a novice in the detailing world). at any rate, i have two coats of blitz on my car right now and the scratches have been visibly reduced. in fact so much that i think 1-2 more coats of wax will hide them altogether. now i know this is b/c wax is filling the scratch, etc, but my question is regarding when i begin my klasse treatment. will klass (AIO and 4-5 layers of SG and 4-5 layers of carnauba) "hide" the scratches like straight carnauba does? or will it highlight the scratches since they are sealed in under the SG? thanks

Don't kid yourself into thinking that multiple layers will make scratches disappear. They won't. Sure, they will help disguise them a little. But it is such a disappointment to spend so much work on multiple layers of sealant and wax only to have the whole thing spolied by a bad scratch.
Please do the most you can to <strong class='bbc'>remove[/b] the scratch before you apply new wax. It is the right way to spend your time! Invest in proper aprasives and do the job right. You will be much happier then!

Perhaps it would best suit you to take your car to a local body shop of good reputation and ask them to look at the scratches. This will give you a good starting point in what to do. Perhaps you'll be able to round the edges a bit and aid in reducing the light refraction of the scratches. Or they may suggest you wet-sand the area. Some offer a $45 per/hr. charge to reduce or remove the scratch depending on the depth of it. This is sometimes the best and safest way to go for an average person. You don't spend big bucks and you get a scratch removed.
After you've gotten the correct information on the scratch, you can layer with Klasse, or any other higher end product.
In my experiance it's almost impossible for anyone to tell you what to do about scratches over the internet on a forum. Have someone with experiance take a look and tell you what to do. Each and every person has a different scale of determining depth when it comes to scratches or marring.
To close, call and ask a BMW, or Lexus dealership where they send they're customers for cosmetic repairs and you'll be on the right coarse.

My experience is that AIO and SG do very little the hide a scratch or even bad swirls. I agree with the earlier comment, get it to a body shop, but remember they can touch up paint but not clear, touched up clear tends to halo in the sun.
