Scratches and Swirls?

I just bought a 2001 True Blue Cobra. i washed it and wxed it with the following:

Mr.Clean AutoDry

Meguairs Clean Wax

NXT Wax



and now there are a very fine scratches and swirl marks. mainly on the hood.

I would highly recommend checking out the Learn! button. It has a great way to wash your car and instructions on how to minimize the swirls/scratches. Check it out and see if that works for you.

Yeah, there are two concerns here: getting rid of the marring you're talking about, a avoiding any *new* marring.



To remove what you already have, you're gonna need an abrasive polish. *LOTS* of choices, I'd probably go with stuff from 1Z.



Avoiding the marring is tougher...study up and get back to us with more Qs.
