"Scotchguard" for headliners?

Is there a product that would protect headliners from dirt, or make removing the dirt easier like scotchguard?
 
Scotchguard is only worthwhile before it's dirty. I use it on all the kids cars because they spill stuff all over them and it indeed makes it easier to extract the dirt.

Problem with headliners is that many are just a felt's material and I've had poor luck scrubbing them because you raise a fuzz on the fabric.
 
I have never used Scotchguard on a headliner, and not sure I would want to start using it anyway, but that's just my opinion.. And if you did, as has already been said, it needs to be all clean... Im also not sure how long Scotchguard would last up there..

For cleaning headliners, I have always had great success with Meguiars APC+ because it cleans really well, is very low foaming, and usually does not require a rinsing, which is not good for headliners anyway...

I know, APC+ is gone, unless you want 55 gallons of it, I believe, but surely, there must be something that comes close to that perfect product out there...

I never use brush on a headliner either - because this product cleans so well, just a soft microfiber towel, and a little careful rubbing, and blotting so as to not disturb the nap of the headliner..

Sometimes steam through a towel on my triangular brush works really well on headliners but you have to be very careful to not use too much steam and get it too hot and loosen the glue that holds the headliner to the roof...

Thanks for the advise, the truck is new, but its a construction truck, people lowering the visor and just being dirty in it. (mostly me lol)
 
Does anyone recommend ultima interior coating spray stuff haha, for the headliner?
