School buses

Ok, I want to hit up a big daycare around here. Think there is 4 locations here in town. I know for a fact, that one location, has 2 short buses, a van, and 1 or 2 regular size school buses. Maybe a tad shorter, but not much.

Has anyone done buses before?

I am looking to either just do a simple wash and interior clean (quick go through)

or a wash, interior, and 1 step polish/cleaner wax.....

I need to get more info on the quanity of buses and vans they have, but what would you charge for:

-Bus

-Short Bus

-Van

I was thinking maybe.....85/65/45 for just a simple wash/vac???? BTW, they are white

Any heads up would be appreciated.....

I think you are greatly undercharging for your services...

I would do this, $100, $70, $50

This pricing is for the wash only

For a one step cleaner..definately add more $$ - - These are really big jobs. I just got done doing a Horse trailer and Im doing a camper next week. For the camper it is 28 feet long and Im charging $350 for a wash, one step cleaner, and wax. For $400 I told the owner I would also scrub the roof and apply a protectant.

Im going to refer you to this thread

over at MOL Forums. This should give you an idea what your up against. If they have a whole fleet of busses I would hire some kids to help you wash them to cut down on time. If you feel like you need to give a little discount then do so, I offer discounts to my customers alot because it keeps them happy, keeps me busy, and I get the money back in the end with their loyalty. Do what you have to do to meet your business needs I say. I know you do good work so good luck! :) Some people like to do big projects like this and other don't...Personally I am really excited to work on the camper because I did a sample panel already and know what its going to turn out like. So have fun and make some money! :getdown

THanks Josh....

I remember reading about that on MOL....

Not too sure they have an enormous amount, something I could turn out in 2 full days........

I like changes now and then, from the normal day to day cars and trucks.

The RV I did was fun and so was the 35 foot house boat.....exhausting, but great to see the final product, see the smile on the customers face, and the larger than normal paycheck in hand........ :spot
