Saying hello from Maine

I sure wouldn't have any right to hate you. I worked in Mass a lot more than Maine before I retired. I love the woods also.

A lot of people from Mass have moved here after they retired. I know of a fire chief from Boston that moved to a remote lake that you couldn't get to without a 4X4.

Hah, I hear ya. Some Mainers just dont like the Masshole weekend warriors though. I don't know why because vacationers do spend a lot of coin up there.

We also need a 4x4 to get out to our camp. Its the only way to go in the backwoods.

We have way more 4x4s than 2x4s. People use them for hunting and fishing but the big reason is the amount of snow we get in the winter. Although last winter was an exception. It was the mildest winter in recorded history. We were in Key Largo for two weeks in Feb. with the temps running in the 50s in the morning and it was in the 30s home. We don't seem to get the -40 -45 anymore.
