sawasdee krub is greeting in Thai. And say hi to everybody.

i'm a newcomer detailing fanatic from thailand. My boy is 2003 HONDA JAZZ (FIT) and Black (pearl black is the name in car catalog). And all stuff that used and some still remains are... (old to new)

1. Meguiar's gold class paste wax
2. Meguiar's nxt tech wax (liquid)
3. Meguiar's color-x
4. Meguiar's Quik Detaler
5. poorboys pwc (polish w/ carnaubar), instead of color-x
6. Menzerna FMJ <<< this monster is hot
7. Pinnacle Souveran paste wax << very lovely
The next is Menzerna Final tough glaze that almost (means manufacturer) claims wet-looked deep gloss um.. means carnaubar's mimic.
All that you see no interrior products, it means i always go to shop to do all process and use my own wax. Sometimes uses quik detailers at home. Because i ever used to do all process and take my whole day disappears.... so.. let's professional do it.

So.. any sugestions welcome.
(i'm not good at English, and may be unconvenienced to talk or say something clearly. but i'll try.)

It's about my testing project that swirl and residue in my head. I means i still love the NXT's character about the blackest color (my boy) that i ever seen. And i'll try many combination with others like FMJ or NXT or Goldclass. like this
1. wash, clay, poorboys polish+carnaubar, FMJ
2. wash, clay, poorboys polish+carnaubar, Pinny Souvy, FMJ
3. wash, clay, Menzerna Final Polish II (shop provided for free trial), Menzerna Final tough glaze (buy new) , Menzerna Full Molecular Jacket or FMJ (my own) << this combo didn't try yet. I'll report when done. I think this Saturday or Sunday.
4. didn't think of yet.
conclusion :
1. It's clear, bright, carnaubar's mimic in shade but in sun it's flat and look grey color (my boy is black) if talk about no.26 Megie (Meguiar) Synthetic Sealant that FMJ more bright more miror look but Megie (Meguiar) better in hiding swirl or spider web and scratches. and FMJ is most slippiest that i ever met more than Blackfire for my sure.
2. whoaaa... what's that? clear bright deep mirror look. It's like a more thick clear coat on deep wet and also gloss, looks like candy (big candy). Or like Meggie Medallion and very very wet like water sheet over my car. I think the best in my combination but ... but... i'd ever try trial of Pinny Souvy (Pinnacle Souveran) that different from No.1. I think it stike against of the two kings (wax vs. sealant). FMJ is less clear less all from applied it alone whenever it's ground with PWC. and Pinny Souvy try to wet to deep but like something break it.... (sorry about my weak English if you feel confused) So i'll try No.3 Next Holiday. Or try 2.1 that replace the top and pre-top, that means applied FMJ before Pinny Souvy, and i read at properauto.com said that try to over FMJ with hi-end carnaubar wax (eg. Pinny Souvy,P21S but Swissol? didn't) over it, that makes dull more little haze.
So.. wait for my reported

so far i've no time to do No.3 but no too long. (2/7/06) m/d/y

any suggestions welcome... korbkun krub (means Thanks)

Hello Yodinho, welcome. I'm Brenton from Prince Edward Island, Canada.
When I was living in Japan, I visited Bangkok once, and one of the little islands (the locals called it mosquito island). Nice place.

Whatever products you have, and you don't really need to buy more, your basic process is this:
1. Wash
2. Clay
3. Polish
4. Sealant (like Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax) or Wax
5. QD/Wash maintenance

Do a "search" on clay for tips, but a Mother's clay bar kit is great, and will do your car about 7-8 times, so a couple of years.

If you get more than one polish, do the one that is most abrasive first, or has the most power, but your products now look pretty good for basic paint maintenance. By the time these products get to Thailand they typically cost a fortune.

Hello and Welcome to DC!!

I believe that Brenton is absolutely correct when he said that you have more than enough product. Just practice using them in the right order.

I like the look that you will get on your Number 3. Cannot hardly go wrong with FPll, FTG, FMJ, topped with Souveran. It should create a shiny wet appearance for the black pearl vehicle that you own.

As far as communicating to the forum is concerned you are doing a terrific job.

SAWASDEE KRUB.... to you too!!!

korbkun mark krub = thank you very much

thanks all ya suggestions. Here's lovely people and thanks you both again.

Umm.. my lust is never end, get this and want that then get that so need more. Thailand's climates claimed in three season that's HOT, HOT AND RAIN and VERY HOT (kidding but true). So every product has own character and the nominations (my opinion on my car) is

1. Meg's GS : good at night but seem cloudy in day (may be brown my car)
2. Meg's NXT : best at SUN and day but flat and looks like plastic more than metal in night
3. PB PWC : first impression looks like color-x + NXT but a little less gloss
4. FMJ : best clear, best slip (than BF that i used to use), best longlasting, easiest to dust off but not more than week (or my duster is so poor because of local manufacture or brand, whatever) and nearly carnaubar's character a little better than BF but still flat so it's look the same like others. i mean if you're waxian and detailian you'll get what's difference but the others regular isn't see so.
5. Pinnacle Souveran : best depth, best wet, best enamel syrup look, and the weakness of carnaubar (the less slip the more dust and duster remove). And the others like Swissol i didn't try yet because so expensive for me to try out in one time service that some shop provided. P21S i had once long time ago but not the same condition that no primer like polish no clay, i see many streaks that i see (hand applied and uses machine+MF bonnet to buff of) and the last i read at waxit.com.au said like leave it and don't touch the paint at least 3 hours for performance (who's wait?)

The point in this test project is to aware from the Carnaubar's weak, i'll try to The Ultimate Synthetic Combo (TUSC) in every step. That's all...

Thanks all krub

Thank you very much. i want to say that now my car have many blemish.(cat or bad direction of other low quality car care for years. But now i just met Menzy in Thailand, and l love to do all perfect step in professional shop from wash to wax. i shy to show now. If i finished and test what i said i'll show you all my Nu-Dum (Black little Kid in Thai) for sure. Oh i'll tell and shoot-out the black color car in Thailand from nice to less nice from the factory, and the nomination is

1. LEXUS, BENZ (new model), NISSAN << all is in the road not too closed and first and short look)
2. MITSUBISHI << new model truck TRITON is very nice.
3. HONDA << why my car? It's depend up to series and year like old model CRV,the black color is deep and wet than new model CRV in major change. Sorry that i can't remember the code name. And new ACCORD is gloss than my JAZZ.
4. TOYOTA, MAZDA << IMO it's metallic black not pearl black like others so it less black or sometimes looks dark grey in some light.

any suggestion welcome...
