If you have carbon fiber (real, not stick on or laminate or whatever) that was clear-coated, but there are some deep imperfections in the clear that require a signifigant amount of wetsanding and re-clearing, if you wetsand them out and accidently go through the clear and into the carbon, will you be okay since you're re-clearing the piece again anyways? Okay meaning that you havn't just buggered it up and need to buy a whole new piece?
I vaguely remember a friend showing me years ago a piece of carbon where he nailed it with a DA in one spot, it looked absolutely horrible, then he washed it (or something) and it looked perfect once again.
