Same Buffing Towel?

Do you use the same Buffing towel to buff off what ever wax/sealant. Or do you use a dedicated Buffing towel for each wax/sealant you use?

Ex) If you had 3 different wax/sealants, do you reserve a differnt buffing towel for each or do you use the same one no matter which wax/sealant you use?

No, I just separate my "nice" buffing towels from the "not so nice" buffing towels. The "nice" towels only touch my paint, and the "not so nice" are used for all-purpose stuff (under the hood, door jambs, wheels, etc).

I really like the yellow ones that I got from K-mart but everytime I have been lately they do not have them, these towels are great.

Thanks for the comments, but my question was aim more towards using the same buffing towel for multiple waxes since it would be easier.

Say, I have buffing towel X. Today I use it to remove Wolfgang. Next month maybe I decide to put on JetSeal. Should I use a "separate" towel dedicated to buffing JetSeal, or can I reuse buffing towel X?

Or does it depend on the waxes/sealants being use?

Of course I wash them with MF wash.

No I don't consolidate towels for each product. I think that would drive me insane because there are too many towels and too many products.

Makes sense. What about foam applicators? Use separate ones for each wax?

For most products it isn't an issue as long as you wash them. ZCS is finicky so I have a dedicated pad for that one.

Yeah, although I'm not all *that* strict about it in some cases where the products are really similar. E.g., the foam applicator I use with BF has been used with UPP.

If you're washing the MFs, don't worry too much about dedicating a specific towel to a specific product. I use my "nicer" buffing towels for removing LSPs and wiping down the paint, and buy the 30-pack of yellow all-purpose MFs from Costco (which are actually pretty nice) for everything else.

Applicator pads I will reuse a few times (and sometimes dedicate to a product). If I use Natty's Blue, for example, I'll dedicate the applicator to it since the applicator never really cleans up completely. I have another dedicated to PB Wheel Sealant. That's about it though - most other products are easily cleaned from the applicators and can be reused for anything.
