Safe snow removal

thanks. It's my first year with this vehicle so it's an experimental year. I just have to wait it out to see what it's going to look like. I put down a couple layers of NXT 2.0 in the fall. I think I'll use something else next year, as I've found other sealants that are better at releasing dirt on my other car... but they don't last long either. If the weather holds over the weekend I might get some Ultimate Spray Wax down. Regardless, I'll be looking for a long lasting sealant that releases dirt easily.

During the winter, my garden hose is not available, so I am limited to touchless and pay'n'wand, or pay to rent a bay and use buckets. suggestions welcome. thanks

It looks like your choices are about the same as mine. I do keep a hose in the basement so that's a plus.

When I use the wand at the car wash I bring along a covered bucket full of hot water and my car wash soap. After I go over it with the pressure wand I open the bucket and go over it by hand then rinse.

Unless your vehicle is spotless before a snow any attempt to move the snow off is going to scratch the paint. Clean the windows, drive to a coin-op and wash the snow off. No coin-op? You're SOL.
