This was sad news to me:( and quite a shock :eek: :sorry:
After talking with Troy, I understand their reasons, but am still sad:(
Any members looking for products right now would being doing the right thing by supporting Troy and Sheila with a purchase :bigups and hopefully they will get so busy that they will change their mind:passout::dcrules

A sad thing indeed but I do wish the best to all.

By the way I just tried to order from the DC site and was unable to put more than one thing in the shopping cart?!:redface: When I clicked on the "keep shopping" button and went to back to add another item the first one was gone!
I did send an e-mail describing the problem and will call it in tomorrow.

I just now tried again with the same results and then saw your post.
I can only order one item no more! I did try other sites with no problems adding to the cart. It could be on my end but I don't think so.
 
The original post was made in our special values thread of the DC sponsored forum. I felt I needed to explain why we are making the special offers. I was planning on making an official announcement when I had a better idea of when we were actually closing it. Right now we are sure of the closing, just not when we will do it. It will be before summer for sure. ;)

We aren't going anywhere. We are planning to make plenty of improvements to the forum and are excited about the direction it is going. :excited:

I'm sorry you are having trouble. Please call Sheila at 800-541-4542 on Monday morning and you can give us your order over the phone.

I tried one more time and all worked as it should......order placed online.
Didn't mean to hijack but thought you would want to know if something was amiss with the ordering system.

Don't be sad, we aren't.

Having two full-time businesses and trying to grow them both is a bit taxing, especially when you have a family and want to have a life outside of it all. I enjoy running the forum and I enjoy having the detailing business (for the most part). The online store is just a bit too much for us when combined with everything else. :crazy2: :passout:

RTexasF, I use to experience the exact thing you are. I found out that it was my firewall blocking the cookies that it needed to save to keep up with my shopping cart.

Thank you for that information, I'll check into it. To place the order I actually had to go to the desktop in the other room.
