Scottwax- Thanks for sharing the MPV, single stage on it huh? That's a new one, never heard that before. Mine isn't cleared everywhere but it *is* a b/c vehicle. I sympathize with what you went through on its interior, once that carpet gets too stained it stays that way. And that was definitely "too stained". How do people live like that....

Vacuumed then went over it with a damp microfiber towel. That's it!

cj99si-70s and 80s mean 50s at night and in the early morning. 70s and 80s are fine for daily lows but I much prefer 90s to 100. I absolutely love the heat.



At least by not liking coffee, I don't waste money at Starbucks...in fact, I have never even been in one! ;)



abbeysdad-I was told by David at Optimum to expect at least 3-4 months durability. Obviously, you cannot layer Poli-Seal but topping with OCW every month would probably last all winter and well into spring.



Accumulator-the body paint was single stage, the bumpers were base coat/clear coat. I have no idea why this van had single stage paint, but it isn't just a Mazda thing. I did a 7th gen white Accord that had a single stage paint job too. I guess the manufacturers figure by the time the white paint fades enough for the average person to notice, it will already be on the used car market.

Huh...well, I don't mind ss anyhow, but I would've been really surprised to find that out when detailing it.
 
That Saab is a definite keeper!...soo slippery wet, it's right on the money. The owner will be stoked for sure upon receipt of his loaner back. :goodjob
 
Scott I have been using Poli-Seal quite a bit too lately. I love this stuff. I can't believe how slick it makes the paint feel. I talked to David the other day and it sounds like he will make smaller sizes. He isn't sure if he is going with a 16,17, or 32 oz. sizes yet. I really think once people start trying it, the Poli-Seal is going to be a huge hit. Right now I think the gallon size is turning people off.

On the Accord, you did not top the Poli-Seal with anything? I have the same car, so I'm curious.



I'm there when the smaller size of P-S comes out!

Poli-Seal is a stand alone sealant that happens to have light polishing ability.

I am more intrigued on the kind of lens you use in taking your pics. It produces somewhat "surreal" effects, making the car look smaller or miniaturized in some angles. Tilt-shift? :D

:nixweiss It is a Tamron 28-80 zoom lens.
