how would you compare these two? I have s100 and might try #16? How does the shine compare and I guess durability goes to #16. I have souverean and that seems to be very durable to me.

Some people find the looks of S100/P21S to be very similar to #16.

#16 will definitely last longer, it's a very durable wax.

The trick to using #16 is to put it on *thin*, preferably with the PC. It doesn't take much, a can oughta last for many years.

I've used S100 a couple of years ago and it is very easy to apply and remove. The durability is not bad either I appyied it over NXT, got at least 2 months out of it until I tried something different. It left the X nice a shiney.

I'd say the looks are fairly similar, but the #16 will last more than twice as long as the s100.

If you can get over the learning curve of applying/removing #16, it is definitely the way to go IMO. I would think that #16 would also be a much better value based on the durability AND size of container (price per ounce).

Not much I can add to that! :)

I assume I would make FMJ last a little longer with #16. and get great results over AIO, FMJ, VM or SG?

#16 has worked well over every product I have tried it with. Don't expect #16 to add a whole lot visually other than wetness and gloss. It won't darken colors, for example.

I have to agree about #16's durability. I applied it on my gf's civic that sits outside 24/7 and it's been through a drive thru car wash a few times and it's been two months, and the wax is still holding up very well. I would really recommend this wax for anyone who's looking for a wax that really last very long. OTOH, I prefer s100 in looks department. I feel that on darker color cars it produces more depth and gloss than #16.

I use, and like, both. As has been sufficiently underscored #16 is king in the carnauba wax dep't...except for Collonite.

In the looks dep't, #16 looks wetter, S100 is glossier and as a result, more reflective. Both look great...on darker colours #16 adds depth, S100 adds gloss.
