S100,VM streaking

When I do a customers vehicle I usually use the same routine. Clay with wash, VM applied with orbital and removed by hand, then S100 applied by hand. Sometimes it seems to be streaking after the s100 is removed. I noticed it yesterday on a black rodeo. Any thoughts on why?

I noticed it once on a black too. I think it may have been due to the humidity and salt air at the time though.
 
You may be applying it too thick. Use real thin layers and remove immediately. Other than that, Bill is probably right that humitidy could be affecting it. Usually you can use some QD and remove the streaking.
 
Is it important to buff it off right away? I have the same problem, but have been letting it dry longer. Recent posts suggest that most products work better with extended drying time.
 
Sometimes the M.F. towel gets full of product. Try using a few more towels letting each one do a smaller area of removal. It worked for me.
