s100 over nxt

Not at all, but the second coat of NXT may be. NXT has cleaners in it, so if your surface is properly prepped, there is no need for two coats. I might wait 24 hours before topping it with s100 though, since it's a sealant.

thanks. anyone else? I was going to wait 48 hrs b4 putting on the s100. i already have the 2 coats of nxt. i wanted to see if it made a difference. If nothing else i know it is completely covered.

The second coat will guarantee that it's well covered and also give you a little *cleaner* surface if you applied without prep, but not more protection. This is where your s100 will come in. It will add depth and gloss to an otherwise *shiny* finish.

By hand with a foam applicator pad in front to back motions for the horizontal surfaces and top to bottom motions on the vertical surfaces. I don't think you have to wait for s100 to dry very long, so it's pretty much a wipe on wipe off product.

todd its the cam. It looks incredible. ill take pics when i get the s100 on. thanks. ill try it thursday

is it a thin coat wax? i was going for very light passes, is this correct?

damn it.. beat me too it.. i was gonna top my moms minivan with s100, after letting the nxt wax cure... but then she decided to go to the city... poop

navindra: lol ya i guess i did. although i would have done it today but the hd dealership isnt open on mondays. damn. cant wait.

#16 looks great over NXT so no doubt S100 will look at least equally terrific.

OFF-TOPIC:

I know #16 is a rediscovered product. I've had 2 cans sitting on my arsenal as if like a collector's item, hesitant to use unless availability in my place would improve. I'm still wondering how an old product could have this impact on Autopia (the reason I've kept 2 cans for collection). I've seen a famous Zaino user (can't remember if in this forum) but won't give up on #16. I don't know what's something on #16.

Just my thoughts...(I'm not anti-megs or anti-zaino, just an average detailer wondering) :nixweiss

It's an oldie but goodie, what can we say? Sometimes, it's better to just stick with what works.
