S100 ok for truck

Have used Meguiars #7 and S100 on a steel gray metallic M3 and am very happy with results. Have a 95 Thunderbird and have used Blitz and Meguiars #7 on it and pleased with results Just bought a 2004 Silverado 2500hd in silver birch metallic and need some advice from those with more experience than us. Truck was made 12/03, so should we just wash and wax for now or use a glaze and wax. S100 ok to use on light colors and GM paint or should we use Mother's or Blitz or Meguiars #26. M3 is a garage queen but the truck will be parked out in the hot sun(high desert) so we are thinking of using 303 for the dash if that would be sufficient re uv issues. Any response to any of the above would be appreciated.

1. Depending on if its a daily driver, Id use blitz over s100 if its a dd. Id consider getting some meguiars #20 and topping it with #16 for added protection and look. I would stay away from a glaze wax combo in the hot sun if its outside all day.

2. 303 would be great for the dash. Just make sure you apply it every 30-45 days.
