S100 in the rain

For most of the last year, I've had nothing but Klasse SG on my car (although I had quite a few layers). I've generally been happy with the way it looks, and particularly happy with the resistance to dust. I park my car in a garage at work, which sometimes seems to be pretty dusty.

Anyway, I recently added S100, more out of curiosity than anything else. It has been on the car for a few weeks now, and we've had several rain storms since then. I've been quite surprised by how well S100 has handled the rain. It beads beautifully, and the car has stayed relatively clean despite the rain.

I planning to stick entirely with SG and UPP for the coming winter but I really do like the way S100 has worked out.

Nope. I've been surprised by that. I teach at a university and their is construction all around campus. As a result, their seems to be a lot of dust inside the parking garages. But, S100 has done a pretty good job of resisting dust. In that regard, the S100 has performed as well as SG (at least on my car).

I also have an Acura (TSX) so I suspect our experiences would be the same.

Right now, i'm in LOVE w/ S100. Everyone said to expect 4 weeks out of it, I get a little bit more, but it's also been raining alot out here.

I actually threw a coat on my girls accord knowing it was going to rain the next day just so I could drive it and watch the beads of water just fly off of the hood!!!

I like it most on silver, it really makes metallic silvers dance. I had a coat of Rejex on her car for testing purposes but just wasn't happy w/ the look so threw on the S100 and it made the car just POP!!!!

S100 has resisted dust for me as well. It has a very good durablility for a Carnauba. There's good reasons why P21S won the Guru Reports shootout.

Excuuuuuuuuuuse me, but it is "Singing in the Rain",

not "S100 in the Rain"

Just ask Fred Astaire.

Or was it Bing Crosby.

No, wait, they're both dead.

Never mind.

congrats, i'm thinking of transferring into the business program there, i'm currently a double major at CSULB Business (marketing) and Communication Studies.

The school is a joke, I need something to challenge me. I have finals next week and I haven't opened a book all semester and I've got all A's and B's

I'm also debating going into UCLA's mechanical engineering program. Then I get thinking I like passing and not having to do homework :D

Its great in the rain. It has rained all week where I am, and this stuff is still beading!!! The trick is to put it on sparingly, and allow it time to cure. Whala!

BTW: Guru is a great source for a general overview of detailing products. I did not agree with everything that they tested or stated, but in terms of references, their source is good.
