Running boards - keeping them clean

OK, so my latest pet peeve is trying to keep the running boards and associated black plastic clean on the SUV ~X(

Hints/tips on not having to clean them more than once a week?

I have these on a 2001 QX4 and I used use Aqua Bead but it did not last too long. Usually until the next rain. I just started using 303 and I use it the same way. Apply liberally, let soak and buff off excess with a MF cloth. Look better for longer but in all fairness I only started using it a few weeks ago

Dressing running boards is a double edge sword with me :Swordfight:

While they certainally look better dressed, you stand the chance of having your customer bust there backside if they were to get wet (rain) I won't under any circumstances apply dressing to the running boards if the customer is pregnant. Having said all that, I don't suppose it ever really hurt anyone to fall on there butt every now and again. That is unless they crack there spine /:)

I dont dress them. I just give them a good wipedown with QID after cleaning them.

It would be a shame if I got sued.

Thanks guys for the feedback. Yes, never ever, ever dress them for a pregnant lady (been there, not a pretty sight). This is my own vehicle, so I may bite the bullet and QD it every few days.:rofl:
