Not always true. RUF is an automobile manufacturer and do produce some cars with RUF VINs where RUF is the manufacturer. That said, its also possible (and more feasible/likely) that this car had aftermarket RUF parts added and is therefore a Porsche thats been upgraded by RUF. The best way to tell is via VIN number or to contact RUF Auto Centre in Dallas.
