round weld marks inside door

I was touching up a mark on the inside of my door and noticed on one of my round weld marks on the inside bottom of the door has a little bit of surface rust on it. I was thinking about putting the rust convertor on it and let it go. Is this something that I should be real concerned about? My husband says that most people wouldn't even notice something like this.

They don't notice it until a big rust hole appears in their door- then they trade the car in, getting next to nothing for their rust-bucket ;) I'm not being as facetious as it might sound, either.

Heh heh, don't get me going on the cluelessness of "most people" ;) and I'm not just talking about how they care for their cars :D

IMO every time you spot some rust like that you oughta apply the rust converter. As the song says, rust never sleeps.

All these little (well, they're still little *now* ) rust issues you keep finding make me a bit nervous about the build quality of your car...

Here is a picture. I know what you mean. It makes me wonder too. It makes me sick because I take good care of my car and this happens. The first spot I seen was because the stupid body shop guys were not careful when they removed the bolt on the door and took it down to metal before I realized it.
