I was wondering what the best RPM's on the rotary for Quick detailer (#66), Machine Glaze, DACP amd SFP?

Any help would be appreciated. I know there are variables for every situation but I am hoping for a good place to start at.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Scott,

A good general speed for all of those products is 1500 rpm

Faster speed for more cutting power, but recognize this will increase heat build-up so be careful.

Slower speeds like 1100 and 1200 for light duty buffing, or final polishing.

Pad size can make a difference too, you can use slower speeds easier with smaller pads.

What about polishers that only go down to 1500 like the older makitas ;)??????
