i have some very light scatches on my bumber, other wise paint is smooth as glass. id like to try to remove them with a rotary

what rpm do you set it on to start, i dont want to burn the paint of course. {mine starts at 800 or 1000 rpm i believe} and can i use a foam polishing pad, if so what color? and what product works for light 1-2" surface scratches?

do you apply the prouct directly to paint and spread with buffer or onto pad and then buff into the paint?

If you have not used a rotary it can be tricky. Any who use the lowest setting to start with a cutting pad. They come in foam and wool. I'd use polish to start if the scratches are not that bad, if so then light cut compound followed with polish.

Apply the product to the pad press on the bumper and work that way or put sopme on the surface and apply the rotary before kicking on the juice.

I'm not usre where you are going to buy these pads but check on this site Dwayne will be able to help you.
yes you want to put the product on he pad then onto the painted area. If you turn the juice on with the product on the pad its going to go every where trust me you don't want that. You will be digging it out of every where.

oh i see i guess i can get the pads here on this site and im gonna get some meguairs, automagic? what do you suggest?
