I've only used the white-bristle ones on my Cyclos, and those do *not* throw [stuff] everywhere as long as you keep the brushes in contact with the carpets. IF you lift the machine up so the brushes spin in the air it *will* make a huge mess.
But...using them on a *DRILL*?!? I dunno about that :think: :nixweiss

Seeing as how I just found a free Cyclo from 1954-55 what would i need to run these carpet attachments? I have seen the brushes online just not sure the ones I need are and if any other accessories are needed. Thanks

That Cyclo should still work fine with today's accessories. You need a thin wrench to unscrew that pads, the brushes (and more modern velcro-faced or E2K-style pad holders) screw in the same way.
Check out Cyclo Toolmakers . BTW, if you send it to them for a going-over, they *will NOT* just rip you off with unnecessary repairs; they'll only do what'd really necessary and it costs *VERY* little to have it serviced.

Thanks Accumulator, I actually did check the page because I was looking for a replacement Power Cord as the current one is taped and ripped right before the handle, and I read it was sold thru Craftsman at the time and mine is a Craftsman branded one. It still runs great, ill prob send it out to have it serviced by them and get the Velcro plates as well as the wrench and brushes. Thanks!

Hey, that's kinda cool that it's branded "Craftsman". Not surprised that it still works great!
You might oughta tell the folks at Cyclotoolmakers to be a little careful so they don't take off any "Craftsman" labeling. I asked them to watch that they didn't strip off my older one's "Malm's" label.

1/4" Air Angle Die Grinder
The rotary brush will fit on an angle grinder no problem. Angle grinders are also very handy to have around.
