Rotary and Edge pads...what polish combo???

I just got a Hitachi rotary and have used it a few times with fairly good results. I have Edge 2K 6" pads (that I used with my PC prior), and I'm wanting suggestions on the best polish/compoud to remove moderate swirls.

It seems like most of the vehilces I do have moderate swirls. I've used Chemical Guys ProPolish to get out light swirls, but even when stepping up the pad, I can't get out moderate.

Please recommend a few polishes that will get these dang swirls out. And don't forget to tell me what Edge 2K pad to use. I have Yellow, Green, Orange, Blue, and White pads.

Thanks!!!

if you haven't tried Optimum polishes, i highly recommend them for both rotary and pc work. i have them all (OHC, OC, OP)...but if you want to save a few $$$, you could just get OHC and OP...then mix the two for a medium homemade "OC".

my newest favorite is Menzerna FPII for finishing up. i haven't touched my OP since i bought the FPII, except for mixing w/ other products. :)

regarding pad choice, i am still a newb at the Edge system...but i will venture a guess and say green/orange will be where most of your correction work will be done...then blue/white to finish. i tend to stay away from the most agressive combos unless absolutely necessary (especially on a rotary).

Seems like many people like the Optimum products. Maybe I should give them a shot. What else???

I agree ... for the rotary the Optimum Polishes are very good. I also like the Hi-Temp Levelers. Both are easy to use, effective, and economical.
