Hey everyone, rookie here(23) looking for some advice from the pro’s. I got my first real new car and want to take care of it. Its white which is nice that I can’t see swirls
but it obviously gets dirty pretty easily. I wash my car once a week. I do notice rail rust or what appears to be rail rust on the hatch. I’ve used clay bar to remove it but the dust and junk in the air always causes contaminants to appear on the white. Anyways I’m looking for some good products to use obviously expensive doesn’t mean good, but I need help with what to get , when to use it, and how to use it properly.
Another one of my questions will be; to properly detail a car do I need a porter cable? Im a bit afraid of using it but some tell me its pretty easy. Heres the products I currently use, nxt soap, nxt wax, and zymol polish and meguiars claybar and I also have there super detail spray.
What’s a good wash mitt that holds a lot of suds? What about soap is nxt fine? I don’t know what any of the abbreviations mean but I know OC or OTC is over the counter.
What are some good products to get for drying? Are there any kits? I’ve heard about klasse all in one. So basically im looking for some advise on products from washing-drying-detailing. Help me with the basics and get the ball rolling. Thanks a lot guys!
