Rolls Royce Phantom and a few other details-56k friendly

amazing work scott, love the rolls royce....thing about those cars is that they are beautiful ...but u wouldn't buy one to drive...but to be driven in, if u know wot i mean.

amazing work again!

Tell him to take the Rolls back to the dealer to get that OP removed - OP on a Rolls = POS! If Bentley can do it, their "big brother" can too.

Sheesh $325K for OP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Coulda spend $12K on a Neon and got the same thing.

Amen. My TJ has some *slight* orange peel. 'Nuff said.

Scott, I'm impressed that you do all of your cars by hand (and do such beautiful work!) How the heck long would it take you to detail the exterior of the RR?

Would you mind if I inquired as to why you don't like to use an orbital polisher?

:xyxthumbs

So Scott, besides the *great job as usual*, how did you like the look of that 3M FG? Did you polished the car before using it?

About the Groject2000, it's almost like AIO but a more recent formula, it has less cleaning ability, lasts longer and shines more. You should try it alone, after the polishing process.

About the same as a Suburban, about 30 minutes to polish and 20 to wax. Car was new and paint was in great shape. No visible swirls, etc.

The guy with the Rolls was my first high end customer and he insisted a buffer never touched his cars so I learned to work by hand. Now that Mercedes is using PPG's CermamiClear paints and Ford and GM have harder paints, one of these days I'll have to break down and buy a buffer.

No need to polish the car. No visible swirls so I just used 3M's FG III and CMW. Definitely a wet looking combination.

I will do that. I wasn't sure if you could use it as a last step product or not.

Good idea! He could stay here a couple of days, it's on the way ;)

Fantastic job Scottwax, be sure to let us know how you get on when it comes time to clean those sheepskin mats!

ShowroomLincoln, I thought the same when I first saw pictures of the new Roller last year. But it's one of those cars that looks better in the flesh then in pictures and it definately grows on you. Also I regularly see two of 'em parked up near where I work, one in black and the other in a wine red/maroon, the maroon definately compliments it much better making it look less slab-sided.

Nice job on the Rolls. How is the paint quality compared to the Bimmer 7-series?

I can’t believe BMW has the gall to put the Rolls-Royce badge on that rolling abomination. The Bentley in your pics is beautiful, the Rolls is…………eh, different.

Excellent work Scott as usual.

How do you attached multiple pictures?

I use either my own site, autopia's gallery or www.photohost.org/gallery to host the pics then post them using the
