Rolls Royce Drophead Coupe Correction

I did this car when it was new a little more than three years ago and have not done it since......well it picked up some "Patina".

27 hours later the vehicle is restored to "As new", below in the first pick is when I worked on the car as it was delivered new.

As the car came in at noon, there was no shade and now the weather is getting warm here so I wiped down the finish and decon/clayed with the wash reserved for after the compound stage.

The brightwork on the car was in horrible condition and needed a few hours just to correct this part of the car alone.

Great restoration, Bob! That was a case of absolute abuse and neglect for the owner to let it get that bad.



Hopefully it won't be another 3 years and come back to you in the same hammered shape again!
 
Wow Bob, what had he been doing for 3 years - the tunnel wash? Great job, I'm sure he was pleased with his "new" car now.
 
Always great to see such a magnificent machine return to its proper glory. :xyxthumbs So what were the products and process?

Easy Kevin........(lol) the method of polishing is not called "The Bob Willis method" thank you and it is you who needs the accolades as some of things you thought of make EVERY detailers life easier(Btw loved the Tommy Bahamas shirt @ the SEMA dinner and forgot to tell you).
