GREAT tires.

I'm going with a straight through 3" exhaust, and a big FMIC intercooler, and programable ECU..The rest is going into suspension. H&R Coilovers, M2 Trailing link, Nylon Bushings, Cusco strut tower bars, upgrade the front sway bar

Hey all,

My plans for the next year or so are as follows:

All for the BMW

1-Set of Lowering springs and matched shocks (H&R CUP Kit?)

2-Set of Sway Bars

3-M3 Style deck spoiler. (possibly before the sways)

Man, track season starts in 2 months, and I am dropping a small mint! I have a Weitec cup kit that gets installed next saturday. A GIAC chip goes in April 5. I think I will get schroth harnesses soon. Probably need to upgrade my brakes by August!

I need some new summer tires. I have Pilots now--anyone have recommendations for performance tires?

I recommend Bridgestone Potenza RE730 myself....Nice and quiet, great tread wear and stick to the road wonderfully.

thx for the advice. I'm going to check and see if Tire Rack has those bridgestones. I was really liking the Kumos (theyre 100 dollars each), I hear good things, but they look like you have to spend the night at work if even sleet threatens!

There's a few nights I should have stayed at work this past winter since I was too lazy to swap rims this year. These RE730 do not like the snow very much. :D

what's sad is that I shelled out 400 dollars for H-rated Blizzaks and wore them all "winter." The night I changed back into my pilots, it slushed. I drove slowly, and the car was just fine in the "summer" tires.

-sigh- whaddya bet next winter is snow/ice/ice/snow, etc. etc.

i dont really check out much regarding customization but i decided to ask around what would be recommended that i add..

I have a 1996 Nissan Pathfinder

Already have a K&N Air Filter

already have KYB Gas-A-Just shocks and struts

just received my Stillen Rotors and Pads

in process of buying Michellin Cross Terrain SUV tires

I wanna buy some clear corner lights and maybe some clear tail lights.. whats your recommendation on this?

What else could you guys recommend me adding to my pathy?

Nothing that will cost me an arm and a leg, being that im on my father's budget..

:bounce

Well I am rockin a 2000 Chevy Malibu, a not so popular car to customize but with 170 horsepower/190 torque, I cant go wrong. Afterall, all you little Honda owners dont stand a chance against me(unless your packing a supercharger). May will be a big month for me, Altazza introduces the new tail lights for the Malibu. I am also going to throw on a FlowMaster full exhaust system along with a 9 inch/2 Panel Tourer Wing. To add another feature to my Ractive Intake, I am adding a custom made carbon fiber hood with a front end air scoop to help provide a better flow for my intake. During the summer, I am also adding 18 inch chrome wheels. I am looking to spend about 8 grand this year, its worth it. APC RULES!!!!

Hopefully, this doesn't come off as a flame, but Polishpat, 170/190 nowadays is pretty average. My old 1989 Toyota P/U had 150/190 and my Mazda 626 with a 2.0 L has 170/170. And it's all about power to weight. Those little civics, if you remove all the ricer stuff, carries hardly any weight. If the guy is driving a 5 speed and knows how to use it, he can smoke a lot of bigger cars.

yeah haha polishpat, make sure you don't forget the uncle ben's patented 15 horsepower fuel-additive - "minute-ET-rice in the quarter mile" :o :wavey

jokin of course - I just don't like the sounds of an overly souped up "all show not enough go" family sedan. (just comming from a true musclecar enthusiast)
